Amir Kripper established Kripper Studio in 2011, to deliver concept-driven design for commercial real estate and institutional clients in greater Boston and nationwide. Amir is a registered architect and as Kripper Studio’s founding principal, he oversees design and technical development of all projects and leads research initiatives. Simultaneously, he has taught or served as a critic at Boston Architectural College, Northeastern University, RISD, Columbia GSAPP, and Harvard GSD.

Exposed to Bauhaus-style architecture from a young age, Amir trained at the National University of Uruguay’s prestigious undergraduate architecture program before emigrating to the United States in 2004. He earned his Master of Architecture from Columbia University the following year, and subsequently practiced at Polshek Partnership (now known as Ennead Architects) in New York and Boston-based Machado Silvetti. His work has been published in Vacuum, Abstract and Boston Common, among other publications. Amir is a resident of Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he lives in a Victorian-era farmhouse with his wife and three children and serves on the community’s Design Review Board. In his spare time, Amir plays piano and tennis.
